Oh, some pictures!!! Yay! She is BEAUTIFUL! All that dark hair! Wow! I want to smell her new baby smell. I bet she’s delicious. There’s nothing like a new little one. And her name is perfect. Love it! I’m thinking about you often as you start the recovery/sleepless night period (hopefully they won’t last long!!) You look so happy laying there on that delivery table… hopefully I’ll get to meet her someday soon in real life! Enjoy your mom’s while they’re there. LLLLLooooovvvve the name. I’m a sucker for “Lily” myself (obviously). Craziest thing though..I had a Lily and you had a Henry….after I had Lily and was pregnant again I had seriously tossed around the name Henry if I was going to have a boy (I love English history- Henry is the name of kings to me- and the strong yet sweet name of Henry sounded so fitting for a son to me)….but since I got a girl we still stuck to the English theme with the name London.
Who knows, maybe I’ll still get a Henry someday.
Enjoy your Lily girl…even though our daughters have the same name I’m sure there will never be another Lily like yours as well!

Congrats! You know, I am very partial to the name Lilian. You spelled it exactly the same as we did, with just one “l” in the middle. I am wondering if you figured that people would shorten it to Lily with just one “l” as well…that was my thinking. I wanted it to be Lily like the flower.
She is a beautiful baby, and I am sure she will be just as lovely as my very own Lily is.
